This report provides the analyses that inform the Prince George’s County Retail Revitalization Online Guide. The online guide is an interactive tool to encourage reinvestment into surplus languishing, older retail properties unable to meet current and future market demand. This report also summarizes local, regional, and national economic and market conditions, the existing zoning framework, and typical retail typologies along the Branch Avenue/MD 5 Corridor, the focus area of study. It also incorporates revitalization strategies, example case studies, and conceptual application of revitalization strategies for five sites along the corridor.
