Reimagining Public Space: A Front Lawn Design Charrette with Artist Howard Connelly

Interactive Front Lawn Design Charrette led by acclaimed public artist Howard Connelly, known for his visionary installations that blend artistic innovation with environmental sustainability.

This dynamic session invites community members, artists, and stakeholders to reimagine the front entrance of this building as a vibrant, welcoming green space. Through creative collaboration, participants will explore bold ideas to enhance this public space, both aesthetically and functionally.

Howard Connelly will offer an exclusive glimpse into his artistic process, sharing the stories and inspirations behind his existing installation on the site. Attendees can contribute design concepts, exchange ideas, and help shape the future of public space activation in Prince George’s County. Whether you’re an artist, a county stakeholder, or a resident passionate about your community, this is your chance to leave a lasting mark on a space that belongs to all of us. We can’t wait to hear your ideas and see your vision come to life!

More activities from Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council coming soon!
