Receives the Three Kings at Kentland Community Center
Riverdale, MD - The Maryland – National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation will be receiving the visit of the Three Kings Day with music, food, gifts and entertainment from Grammy Winner 1-2-3 Andres.
WHAT: Three Kings Day Celebration

Presentation: Over 400 community members/ children and families will celebrate the unique Latin tradition of Three Kings Day with a presentation from Latin Grammy-winning music duo 1-2-3 Andrés, face painting, lunch, and a visit from the Three Kings bringing candy and toys to all the children in attendance. Pedro Biaggi, a radio personality, public figure, actor and social influencer in the Metropolitan Area, has been one of our Three Kings since the inception of this celebration in our community. Carlo Sanchez, former Delegate for District 47B, has participated as one of the Three Kings for 3 years and will join us again for the anniversary.
M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George’s County is the ONLY Recreation agency celebrating this day in the State of Maryland. The event marks its 10th year anniversary and the Three Kings are ready to share SPECIAL DOOR PRIZES for the children including bicycles; as well as a TV and tablet for the parents .
It is important to continue this tradition and honor the Latino culture in our communities, which comprises more than 18% in Prince George’s County. More than 225 children registered for the event and more than 400 people attend from different ethnicities, making this event educational and diverse.
