Arts on a Roll Teaching Artists
Lead Teaching Artist: $21-$35/hr
Assistant Teaching Artist: $15-$20/hr
Arts on a Roll is a mobile, on demand service providing hands-on arts experiences to customers around Prince George’s County. We are seeking enthusiastic artists and arts educators to lead classes, design workshops, develop curriculum, and assist at events for visual and performing arts programs. Our instructors represent a range of artistic backgrounds and varied levels of expertise, and we invite applicants with no prior teaching experience who can assist at classes and events, to skilled educators who can develop curriculum and lead programs.
This is a flexible, gig-based position based on the needs of the program and the availability of our teaching artists. We seek candidates with a passion for the arts as well as community-based programming and civic engagement, and we provide opportunities for artistic collaboration, personal growth, and professional development.

Performing Arts Assistant
Hourly pay $16-$18/hr
Hours: Seasonal; Part-time; 20 to 30 hours a week based on needs of program
The Performing Arts Assistant will serve as administrative support for the Arts Specialist overseeing numerous performing arts programs. The assistant will support onsite logistical needs of the artistic staff at rehearsals and performances at venues across Prince George’s County. The assistant will also help distribute and collect surveys. Duties include organizing and preparing, assisting with event setup, maintaining supply inventories, audience engagement, and other duties.
