UrbanPlan: November 14, 2020 Staff began the Westphalia focus with ULI’s “UrbanPlan”- a fun interactive online simulation exercise in which teams compete to redevelop a fictional neighborhood. This program allowed Westphalia residents to see decision making through the eyes of different participants – including politicians, developers, and community members – to find out more about how planners must balance competing interests in order to come to a decision on a planning application.
